As big parts of the healthcare industry prepares to go travel to Dusseldorf, Germany, for the world's largest expo of medical products; Curas is doing the same. As in all previous years, Curas Ltd. will be represented at MEDICA all week by its senior management. The emphasis will be to discuss manufacturing agreements, as well as meeting the key decision makers representing the national distribution activities of Curas.
Curas has decided to upgrade its barcodes for all shipping cartons as well as inner boxes, those using the GS1 128 standard (formerly known as EAN 128), from the previous single-line barcode to the new two-line barcode.
The new barcode design is aimed at improving the speed and ease of scanning the cartons in arrival / check-in situations where warehouse staff often have a big volume of goods to handle and take care of; with very little time to read and secure the data that the barcodes provide. The new barcodes will be gradually implemented during the next six months across all Curas products and relevant factories.
