Curas is taking a bold move into the Waste Management market area by launching the first couple of products from its future comprehensive Waste Bag range. The waste bags are specifically designed to meet the requirements of the modern healthcare industry, both in terms of price & quality options but also in terms of the packaging, labeling and use of bar-codes.
Managing Director Casper L Kobke says: “Waste handling is a pressing-point issue across all sections of healthcare related facilities. We recognize the necessity to assisting hospitals and other providers with a logical, relevant and cost-effective offer. The market today is too complex, fragmented and it lacks transparency, in our opinion. We will introduce a new product range which will, more than anything, offer the customer an easy choice of product, knowing that the quality fits their budget”.
Curas plan to include biohazard bags to its growing Waste Management line of products, which belongs to the Facility Supply category of the Curas brand.
By 01 DEC 2010 Curas has completed its information to the market, most noticeably to the many distribution partners; of its decision to focus the next years of efforts within three (3) clearly defined market areas, they are: i: Nursing, ii: Incontinence & Urology and iii: Facility Supply.
The three market areas are complementary in many ways and it has been confirmed by Curas distribution partners that they fit well with the national activities and priorities. The market areas provide a strategic direction for the growing Curas brand of healthcare related products, and the Curas brand will develop a tangible ‘umbrella effect’ for the vast and growing product range whereby the uniformity and consistency is secured by means of e.g. consistent product packaging, nationalized documentation & literature and comprehensive supply chain platform.
