Curas Ireland Ltd. will commence its operation in the Republic of Ireland on the 01 JULY 2007, as originally scheduled.

Following the first meeting of the non-executive board of directors, which took place a few weeks back; it has been decided to focus the initial year’s activities to the promotion and activities surrounding the Public Defibrillator segments.

Sales Director, Deirdre Synnott explains:
“Ireland has one of Europe’s highest rates of Sudden Cardiac Death among its population, and thousands of people are dying each year, and unnecessarily so. We at Curas are convinced that Ireland must change its view on the availability of Public Defibrillator machines, the so-called AEDs, in order to improve the survival chances of the population”.

Mrs. Synnott continues: "We have one of the best and safest systems available, fully automatic public devices, easy and safe for the layman to use. We want to make Ireland a safer place to live, and our motivation is driven by the fact that we can really make a difference. Prices of the fully automatic defibrillators are no longer what is stopping progress here; it is awareness and information which will be the driving force throughout Ireland. We are convinced that Ireland is ready”.
