The C10 is the category number used for Curas’s range of hourly urine meters for critical-care patients, and Curas has launched its ROVER models REF 20800 and REF 20810.

‘ROVER’, as a name, symbolises the product’s ability to help patients who have undergone serious surgery regain mobility and by being a shorter and more compact system of hourly diuresis, the C10 ROVER fits well into any hospital’s range of products.

“We know that there are two fundamental needs for hourly urine measurement; one is driven by operating room needs, and the other is driven by intensive care requirements. Both have anaesthesia as the common factor, but the former tends to be a shorter period of application and the latter tends to stretch over many more days of use, typically. Our new C10 ROVER now clearly communicates, thanks to its design as well as its name, the OR/OT-initiated use and we see great potential to introduce a urine meter which is easier to work with, easier to walk with and costs less money for hospitals – in line with a shorter duration of use,” says General Manager Janice Lim, who oversees the production and quality control aspects of the important products.
