The two products, 200ml Sample Cup and the 1L Jug, are both urine-handling related.

The 200ml Sample Cup is designed and manufactured by Curas in order to help and assist patients taking a urine sample. Often, as most patients will acknowledge, it can be a cumbersome duty to take ones own urine sample; and from an infection prevention stand-point it can be a risky affair too, due to the fact that the patient (most often female) ends up with urine contamination on her hands and the outside of the urine collection container. The Curas 200ml Sample Cup is designed to prevent the risk of cross contamination, thanks to the convenient design and stability. Supplied at a cost comparable or better than a small (flimsy) plastic container or water cup; this product is becoming the favorite choice by healthcare providers and clinics.

The 1L Jug, manufactured with a ml-scale for content volume reading, is used for a multiple of tasks, for example:

• Draining urine bags (bed/night bags)
• Draining urine measurement systems (uri-meters)
• Draining leg bags
• Intermittent use of single-use catheters, in bed or wheel-chair
• Ad-hoc use for vomiting
• In stoma and ileostomy drainage situations
